Brand new blog!

Hello everyone and welcome to Sensory Sensation's brand new blog!

I'll be using this blog weekly to keep you all up to date with all the things that are happening behind the scenes at Sensory Sensations :)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The biggest and most exciting news is that we are in the process of launching our very first SENSORY SENSATIONS toddler class! Our first class will be on Wednesday 11th February and is going to be Valentine's Day themed so all sensory & messy play activities will be based around LOVE! Wearing red or pink is optional ;)

Classes will be held at Hothfield Village Hall every Wednesday morning 10-11am. The class costs £5 per child and then £3 per additional child/sibling. If your additional child is under 6 months they can come for free... there will be a special baby area set up for them to explore :) Classes are suitable for children who are crawling up to 5 years old, however, parents are asked to supervise their child closely as some activities may not be suitable for younger little ones or for children who are putting things in their mouths. Aprons will be provided, but it might also be worth bringing a change of clothes for your child.. they may get messy or wet... hopefully both!

To book a place either message me through Facebook, our website or by email (all details on the 'Contact' page)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As well as weekly classes we are now offering SENSORY SENSATIONS PARTIES! Here is a photo from our daughter's 2nd birthday party to give you an idea of some activity examples and set up... more information at www.sensorysensations.co.uk/parties.

Contact me if you're interested in us helping you give your little one a sensory party to remember! :)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alongside launching classes and parties, I am also working on orders from my lovely customers... this week I'm creating a Jungle sensory bin, a 1st birthday sensory bin, tissues boxes & fabric orders and an exciting large order from a local nursery! Busy busy busy!

At the moment there is also a giveaway on my main Facebook page: www.facebook.com/sensorysensationsuk to win this large treasure basket full of sensory goodies for your little one to explore... you've got to be in it to win it! I will choose a random winner on 1st February at 9pm :) if you don't win this one, don't worry! I do giveaways every 500 likes, so as soon as I get to 2500 likes there will be another sensory goody to win!

These large treasure baskets are usually £20 (+P&P) and can be personalised in whichever way you like, check out www.sensorysensations.co.uk/homesensorykits to see more examples of sensory bins and treasure baskets I can create.

Another new addition to Sensory Sensations is the wonderful website my husband has lovingly slogged over creating for me (I'm RUBBISH at stuff like that!) this past week. www.sensorysensations.co.uk will now be the hub of all information and updates where you can see exactly what we can offer :)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Phew! It's all go! Pretty soon (3 weeks and counting...!) I'll be going on Maternity Leave from my job as a primary school teacher. I'm pretty sure this is the time you're supposed to slow down, but I'm too excited by how Sensory Sensations is expanding and I don't want to stop just yet ;)

If you have any questions, comments or feedback please message me, I'm always about :)

Thank you to everyone who is supporting Sensory Sensations, my friends, family, my loyal customers and people who I haven't even met, but who have been so kind to me, I really appreciate it!

Check back here next week for Blog Entry Number Two! :)
